J. August Richards was innate in August 28, 1973 in Washington D.C. He plays the street-wise member of the Angel investigation team. Charles Gunn came from wall street of Los Angeles where he along with his sister & gang members were rebel lamia hunters. Whilst his sister was flushed by lamia he finally gained trust & joined higher by having Angel to fight evil.
J. August's acting career began whilst spotted by the casting director. This resulted around contracting the guest star role in The Cosby Show. More guest appearances would came late in the form of The Practice, Chicago Hope, Any Day Now and Nash Bridges.
